Bohlinia attica

Bohlinia was a genus of giraffid known from the Late Miocene of Europe and Africa. It was remarkably similar to the modern Giraffe of the genus Giraffa, with long limbs and a long neck and may have been ancestral to it. Bohlinia is different from its modern relative in having a sloping skull and longer, horn-like ossicones.
